We arrived around 1 pm in Casa Grande and drove into the city to get the car washed. Our nice white Journey looked a weird shade of grey with all the mud,and salt. Then drove the 5 miles to Sunscape which is out in no mans land. After driving through Phoenix with its 6 lanes of highway and mega drivers (even on Christmas Day), all doing 125 k, I can not see why any one would winter in the big cities.
It is still cool here. Only 15C yesterday but will get to 20 by weekend.
We unpacked the car and then took a couple of hours trying to figure where to put things so we could find them again.
After washing some clothes we settled into the love seat and I surfed the net while Harvey did his crosswords. No TV yet so kind of boring. Today we are off to town to buy supplies to fill frig and cupboards and find a few things to make the place a bit homey. But first we must check in at the office to let them know we are here and then maybe do a little walk to find out where all the activity centers are located. Stay tuned for more senior moments. It was funny yesterday to watch all the golf carts slow down as they past our place, looking at our license plate. "Oh new people" lol
